Bio:

Mark served six years in the United States Marine Corp, shooting expert in both pistol and rifle. After serving in the corps, Mark attended a Police Academy and became a Police Officer for approximately 20 years; Mark also was as a Private Investigator during this time.

In 2008, Mark began working for a private contractor for Homeland Security, providing security for Federal and Private workers and employees. During this time Mark was certified to do body guard work for the state of Texas.

Mark is certified through the NRA to teach Personal Protection in the Home, Basic Pistol, and is a Range Safety Officer, and Michigan Hunters Safety. Mark has taught firearms and concealed weapons training to students all over the United States.

Mark and his family own a dog training facility, where they currently have dogs all over the world serving with the Marines in Afghanistan and Iraq. We also have dogs serving as drug detection in schools. Our main focus is breeding and training hunting dogs at our facility.

Mark is an avid hunter for over 40 years, enjoying hunting big game from deer and bear to upland and ducks with his family and dogs. My main goal when teaching my classes is when my students leave, I have confidence in them that they’ll be able to provide safety for themselves and others.
